With a Bachelor of Arts in political science and anthropology, a Bachelor and Master of Laws and admitted as barrister and solicitor in both New Zealand and Canada, Jodi offers strong legal, commercial and academic experience to her clients.
Before joining Cook Morris Quinn, Jodi worked most recently as the Professional Service Manager for ADLS, organising and co-ordinating the direction of ADLS’s specialist legal committees, assisting them to comment on policy reforms and make submissions as an important contribution to the development of the law. She also oversaw the publication of ADLS forms and precedents as well as the new ADLS WebForms Digitial Signing Service.
Prior to that she worked as a litigation barrister in Victoria Chambers and as a junior barrister in Shortland Chambers, as a lecturer in Criminal and Contract Law at the University of Auckland’s School of Law, as an articling student in the Office of the Crown Prosecutor in Calgary, a summer student with the Court of Appeal of Alberta and as a research assistant in the Law Society of Alberta. As a result she has experienced the workings of her profession from almost every angle.
